Paper Collage Portrait - Self Portrait (3 Hour Class)

Please bring a printed photo of yourself (or someone you'd like to create a portrait of) to class. This image is an essential part of the project and will be used as the reference for your artwork. A clear head-and-shoulders photo works best!

Create a one-of-a-kind mixed media self-portrait by combining drawing, collage, and color. Participants will transfer a portrait image, explore layering techniques, and use decorative papers, paint, and markers to transform their artwork into a vibrant, dimensional masterpiece. No artistic experience is required—just bring your creativity and enjoy experimenting with texture, color, and self-expression in a fun, supportive environment.

Driven by a love for the creative process, Allyson delights in pushing the boundaries of traditional media. By blending textures, colors, and forms in unexpected ways, she creates captivating visual narratives and invites her viewers to journey through her imagination. In her universe, the mundane becomes magical and the peculiar is prized. Her goal is to unravel the mysteries of all that is weird and wonderful.
